Name EdAbout EDUCATION: I'll be honest here. I spent most of my university daze talking utter nonsense in shady northern pubs. I did come out with a degree though - a 2:1 in design and art direction, specialising in writing for advertising. I also have 3 A-levels, a load of GCSEs and a hefty student loan bill. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: I started my career at Pravda Advertising in Manchester, where I did pretty much everything from making tea for creative directors to writing pitch-winning TV campaigns. Next I moved to Virgin Media, where I helped launch the biggest ever Virgin company and once asked Richard Branson why he looks so much like a lion. I currently work at Bluefrog in Hoxton square, home of the semi-ironic moustache. It's here that I write online and DM campaigns for some of the UK's leading charities. INTERESTS: Sport, music, robots, explosions, taking the piss out of my wife, going out, books, films, monkeys, food, the internet, TV, design, video games, travel, advertising, volcanoes, comedy, animation, snowboarding, helicopters. CLIENTS (among others): Unicef, Thomas Cook, Mitre, ActionAid, Virgin Media, NSPCC, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Transform Medical Group, Cancer Research UK, Neilson Holidays, CARE International, Simpson Foods, Mitchells & Butlers, Toby Carvery, Sense, Hardy, Grays, Fishpond, The Prostate Cancer Charity, Scope... |
